The DDR Watchtower, located near Potsdamer Platz, is the oldest historical relic of the Berlin Wall.
This tower is the only one, which survived until out time. Tower was located at the border between West and East Berlin.
You can get inside the tower when it is open, go upstairs and listen to the guide story. However, now the city views from the top of the tower almost completely close the buildings around it.
