Antalya Zoo is located on the outskirts of the city and occupies a huge territory - about 400 acres of land.
The zoo was opened in 1989.
Thanks to the huge territory, the animals live in spacious aviaries. There are about 125 species of animals in the zoo.
Due to the large territory, it is convenient to visit the zoo by car, otherwise you will need to walk 20-30 minutes from the main entrance to the animals on foot.
Along the road you will see many gazebos where you can have a picnic if you wish. It is better to take food with you, although there are several places where you can buy something to eat and drink.
